Website Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: March 28, 2026
Welcome to PII Eraser (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the PII Eraser website, including any documentation, blogs, and the interactive web demo provided herein.
Note: These terms apply only to your use of this website. The actual licensing, deployment, and use of the PII Eraser software are governed by separate agreements (see Section 2).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website.
2. Software Licensing & Cloud Marketplaces
PII Eraser is distributed as a container image primarily through public cloud marketplaces. To streamline procurement for your legal and purchasing teams, the use of the PII Eraser software itself is strictly governed by the standard agreements of those respective platforms:
- AWS: Purchases and deployments made via the AWS Marketplace are governed by the Standard Contract for AWS Marketplace (SCMP), the latest version of which can be found here.
- Azure: Purchases and deployments made via the Azure Marketplace are governed by the Standard Contract for the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace.
- Direct Enterprise Contracts: If your organization establishes a direct, custom negotiated contract with PII Eraser outside of a cloud marketplace, the terms of that specific master services agreement (MSA) will supersede any conflicting terms.
This website does not grant you any license to run, reverse-engineer, or deploy the PII Eraser container software, nor to reverse-engineer the interactive web demo.
3. Compliance & Legal Disclaimer
PII Eraser provides advanced tools for detecting, redacting, and anonymizing sensitive data. However, using our software does not guarantee regulatory compliance on its own.
- No Legal Advice: The content on this website and the outputs of the PII Eraser software do not constitute legal, compliance, or regulatory advice.
- Customer Responsibility: You remain solely responsible for your organization’s compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and any other applicable local or global privacy laws.
- Output Verification: While our models are designed for high accuracy and optimized for complex real-world data, PII Eraser can occasionally produce spurious detections or fail to detect certain PII entities. You are responsible for verifying the output and implementing appropriate security guardrails within your own infrastructure.
4. Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use
All content on this website—including but not limited to text, graphics, architectural diagrams, global coverage maps, logos, and documentation—is the intellectual property of PII Eraser or our licensors.
When using this website, you agree not to:
- Scrape, data-mine, or systematically extract content from the website.
- Input actual sensitive, confidential, or personally identifiable information (PII/MNPI) into the public Interactive Web Demo. The demo is for testing purposes only.
- Attempt to bypass or reverse-engineer the underlying API powering the website demo.
- Access or use the web demo via automated means, scripts, bots, or any method other than manual, individual use through the provided web interface. The demo is intended solely for personal, manual evaluation of PII Eraser’s capabilities.
Enforcement: We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the website or web demo at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any violation of these terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect our Services.
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PII Eraser, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your violation of these Terms and Conditions; (b) your misuse of the website or web demo; or (c) your submission of actual sensitive, confidential, or personally identifiable information into the public web demo.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties (Website)
This website and its informational content (including pricing estimates, performance benchmarks, and deployment guides) are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the website’s uninterrupted availability or the absolute accuracy of the informational content.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PII Eraser shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this website, your reliance on its marketing materials, or your use of the public web demo. Liability regarding the actual software product is strictly governed by the applicable cloud marketplace agreement (see Section 2).
8. Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Website Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic (Czechia), without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Prague, Czechia.
10. General Provisions
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
- Assignment: We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these terms at any time (for example, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets) without your consent or prior notice. You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the relevant cloud marketplace agreement referenced in Section 2 or a direct enterprise MSA, constitute the entire agreement between you and PII Eraser regarding your use of this website.
